语言点 biz - 商业英文第34课 – making an appointment for a car tune-up
Example conversation:
A: Hello, Toyota.
B: Hi, yes, umm … this is Fred Smith.
A: Ah, yes, Mr. Smith, what can I do for you?
B: Umm, I think my car needs a tune-up.
A: A tune-up?
B: Yes, my car needs a tune-up. It’s been… ahh … six months since I’ve had any sort of maintenance.
A: Oh, Mr. Smith! That’s too long! Our records … show that you should have come in for a tune-up two months ago.
B: Two months ago?
A: Yes.
B: Oh, my word. When can I come in?
A: Well, we’re busy today. How about tomorrow morning at 8:30am? We can make an appointment for your car tune-up.
B: 8:30am tomorrow? Why sure! See you then.
A: OK See you then, Mr. Smith. Good bye.
B: Bye-bye.
